To preserve the beauty and durability of our products, we provide the following care recommendations, tailored to each product category:

Furniture

  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, as it may fade or damage finishes and fabrics.
  • Clean regularly with a soft, dry cloth; for wood or lacquered surfaces, use only products suitable for the specific finish.
  • Protect furniture from liquids and moisture; in case of spillage, dry immediately.
  • For upholstery, vacuum regularly and use appropriate cleaning products for each fabric type, always testing on an inconspicuous area first.

Fabrics & Upholstery

  • Always follow the washing instructions provided by our team (geral@alfaiatedinteriores.pt).
  • Avoid abrasive products that may damage the fibres.
  • Vacuum or gently brush regularly, following the natural direction of the fabric.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it may cause discolouration.

Decorative Items

  • Clean regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Avoid harsh chemical products, especially on metal, ceramic, or glass pieces.
  • Protect items from excessive humidity to prevent deformation or oxidation.

Lighting

  • Always switch off the lamp and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Use only soft cloths or slightly damp flannels.
  • Ensure that all electrical components and cables are completely dry before switching the product back on.

Final note: Small daily care habits extend the lifespan of your pieces, preserving the elegance and functionality that define Alfaiate D’Interiores.
